Tech Tip #31 Honda CH250 Hondaline Accessories
Hello Group,

Honda offered various accessories for their Honda CH250 scooter. These accessories were available at the Honda dealer as dealer installed optional items. These accessories were designed to specifically fit various Honda models and to enhance the appearance of the scooter and provide convenience to the owner. The below information was taken from Honda brochures and dealer accessory sheets.

1985

Windscreen: Stylish windscreen complements Elite 250’s sleek looks and makes riding, especially on freeways, more comfortable.

Carpet Floor Mats: Carpet floor mats add to appearance and protects the body work.

Side Molding: Body colored side molding add to appearance and protects the body work.

Seat Cover: Protects the seat from inclement weather.

Rear Trunk: Locking top door of trunk permits quicker, easier access for small items.

Scooter Cover: Plastic cover protects scooter from outdoor elements.

Front Body Trim: Chrome Elite 250 front body trim adds protection to body panels and distinctive highlight. (Markland #080101)

Rear Body Trim: Chrome Elite 250 rear body trim adds protection to body panels and distinctive highlight. (Markland #080102)

1986

AM/FM Stereo Audio System: AM/FM stereo audio system includes twin flush-mounted speakers and a four-function handlebar mounted remote control with five station presets. An optional power booster is also available. (Note: radio and booster was available beginning in 1985 although not described in catalog.)

Audio System Power Booster: Optional 20x20 watt power booster adds increased power to audio system especially at freeway speeds.

Windscreen: Windscreen complements the sleek look of the Elite 250 and makes riding more comfortable. Especially on freeways.

Rear Trunk: Locking top door on the color-matched trunk permits quicker, easier access for small items. Trunk also opens at the base, allowing quick, convenient access and expanded storage flexibility.

Backrest: Rear backrest adds support and comfort for passenger.

Rear Basket: Makes carrying small packages easy and convenient.

Seat Cover: Protects the seat from inclement weather.

Same accessories as 1986 add:

Soft Luggage: Soft carrying bag straps to rear carrier and adds lightweight toting to active riders.
